Over 20 years ago George Scepka, a second generation sod farmer, and his family started Central Michigan Sod Farms. They offer services to Commercial as well as Residential customers.

We have specialized in sod for residential as well as commercial customers for over 20 years and two generations. Our premium sod is Kentucky Blue Grass blend. Our blend of top Bluegrass varieties offer excellent turf quality at an affordable price. Each of these varieties contributes a dark green genetic color, fine texture and excellent disease resistance. Sod can be picked up at the farm or delivered. We also offer grading and installation or laying on existing grade. Hydroseeding is also offered as an alternative to sod.
